In the midst of all of the rightful outrage and protest going on in the wake of George Floyd’s death right now, his family has been offered a great gesture. Former boxing Pound 4 Pound King Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, Jr. has offered to pay for George Floyd’s funeral.

George Floyd is the black man that was wrongfully killed on May 25, 2020, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Floyd was arrested for allegedly using a counterfeit 20 dollar bill at a market in the Powderhorn community of Minneapolis.
During the arrest, Floyd was handcuffed and lying face down on the ground while a white police officer Derek Chauvin had his knee on Floyd’s neck for 8 minutes and 46 seconds. While that was happening, Officers J.Alexander Kueng and Thomas K. Lane were holding down Floyd’s back and legs.
Floyd said he could not breathe. Sadly more, he pleaded with the officers not to kill him and called out for his mother. After 2 minutes and 53 seconds into the officers holding him down, Floyd collapsed and become unresponsive.
Oh yeah, do not want to leave out the other officer involved, Officer Tou Thao who was making sure no onlookers intervened in this horrific act. This is such a great gesture by Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to pay for the funeral and services for the Floyd Family.
Thoughts and prayers continue to pour out to the Floyd family with the hope that justice is served.
