This past Saturday night, Oleksandr Usyk knocked down Daniel Dubois twice and got the 9th-round KO victory. His victory, however, did not go without controversy. In round 5 of Usyk vs. Dubois, Usyk got hit with a shot to the body that the referee ruled a low blow.

The body shot Dubois landed was borderline enough that you can argue that the body shot was clean. Nevertheless, the referee ruled the body shot a low blow. The referee gave Usyk five minutes to recover. Usyk got up from the body shot/low blow to knock out Dubois in round 9.
