Since coming onto the boxing scene ten years ago, Oleksandr Usyk has been steamrolling through the competition. He started his professional boxing career in the cruiserweight division. While at cruiserweight, he dominated and later became the undisputed cruiserweight champion by defeating ‘Iron’ Murat Gassiev in the World Boxing Super Series: Cruiserweight Final in July of 2018.

After conquering the cruiserweight division, Usyk moved up to the heavyweight division. Usyk took on two fights at heavyweight before challenging Anthony ‘AJ’ Joshua for Joshua’s WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight titles. Joshua vs. Usyk took place in September 2021.
In that fight, Usyk defeated Joshua to become the new WBA, WBO, IBF, and IBO heavyweight champion. Usyk fought Joshua in a rematch in August of 2022 and got the 12th round split-decision victory to retain his heavyweight titles.
Daniel ‘Dynamite’ Dubois came onto the boxing scene in 2017. He also has built up an excellent boxing record in the heavyweight division with only one loss. That loss was to ‘Juggernaut’ Joe Joyce in November of 2020. Since losing to Joyce, Dubois ripped off a 4-fight win streak that has put him in position for a world heavyweight title shot.
On August 26, 2023, Oleksandr Usyk will put his WBA, WBO, IBF, IBO, and RING heavyweight titles at stake against Daniel Dubois. This fight will take place at the Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw in Wroclaw, Poland, and ESPN+ will air this fight. Dubois is poised to end Usyk’s undefeated streak and become the new heavyweight champion.
Usyk looks to continue his dominance in hopes of getting a super fight against ‘The Gypsy King’ Tyson Fury for all the heavyweight marbles. Do not miss Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois on Saturday, August 26, 2023!
