Spence, Jr. is out and Ugas is in to fight Manny Pacquiao!

One of the most anticipated fights of the summer is now off! Errol ‘The Truth’ Spence, Jr. was all set to take on the great Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao. Spence, Jr., however, suffered an eye injury that forced him to bow out of the WBC and IBF welterweight showdown.

Yordenis ’54 Milagros’ Ugas was ready to defend his WBA (Super) welterweight title against Fabian ‘TNT’ Maidana on the Pacquiao vs. Spence PPV undercard. Fabian, however, suffered an injury during sparring that forced him to bow out of his welterweight title shot against Ugas.

With Spence, Jr. out with an eye injury that he will be getting surgery on soon, and Maidana bowing out of the Ugas fight, Pacquiao and Ugas turned their attention to each other. On August 21, 2021, Manny Pacquiao will be facing Yordenis Ugas in a WBA (Super) welterweight showdown.

Ugas will be putting his WBA (Super) welterweight title on the line against the legend Manny Pacquiao. Now it will be Ugas, and not Spence, Jr., who will have to opportunity to gain superstardom if he can somehow beat Pacquiao.

Pacquiao vs. Ugas will still be a great fight, but the boxing world truly wanted to see if Errol Spence, Jr. could take the torch from Manny Pacquiao.
