Today, ‘The Golden Boy’ Oscar De La Hoya announced that he will be coming out of retirement to return to the ring. The last time Oscar De La Hoya was in the ring was back in December of 2008. In that fight, he was overwhelmed by the constant pressure of Manny ‘PacMan’ Pacquiao and later quit on his stool.

Now at age 48, De La Hoya plans to make his return to the boxing ring on July 3, 2021. Triller, the social media app will most likely air the return of ‘The Golden Boy.’ The opponent for De La Hoya and fight location is yet to be determined. Thoughts Boxing World?
