Mike Tyson vs. George Foreman. Who wins?

‘Iron’ Mike Tyson and ‘Big’ George Foreman are considered by the boxing world as 2 of the most feared heavyweights in the history of boxing. These 2 fighters were so menacing that they beat a lot of their opponents before they even stepped into the ring.

Both of these fighters were known for knocking out opponents in brutal fashion. Mike Tyson had a total of 58 professional fights and KO’ed 44 out of 58 opponents. That is a KO Ratio of 76%. George Foreman, on the other hand, had a total of 81 professional fights and he KO’ed 68 out of 81 opponents. That is a KO Ratio of 84%.

In their destruction, Tyson and Foreman scored knockouts over a lot of great fighters in their professional boxing careers. Mike Tyson scored knock out victories over world-class fighters such as Trevor Berbick, ‘The Easton Assassin’ Larry Holmes, Michael ‘Jinx’ Spinks, and Frank ‘True Brit’ Bruno.

George Foreman scored knockouts over world-class fighters such as ‘Smokin’’ Joe Frazier, ‘The Black Hercules’ Ken Norton, Sr., ‘Gentleman’ Gerry Cooney, and ‘Double M’ Michael Moorer. Tyson knocked out Trevor Berbick back on November 22, 1986, to become the youngest heavyweight champion ever at the age of 20.

Foreman knocked out Michael Moore back on November 5, 1994, to become the oldest heavyweight champion ever at the age of 45. Tyson and Foreman paralyzed opponents with fear throughout their professional boxing careers. It would have been a dream to watch these 2 fighters square off against each other in their primes.
