Before tonight’s main event on Fox between Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo and Jorge ‘El Demonio’ Cota, ‘The Jackal’ Guillermo Rigondeaux will be looking to get back into Pound 4 Pound contention when he squares off against Julio ‘Pollito’ Ceja in a WBC junior featherweight title eliminator.

Since suffering the first loss of his professional boxing career to Vasiliy ‘Hi-Tech’ Lomachenko in December of 2017, Rigondeaux took a year off from boxing and got back to his winning ways back in January of 2019. In his return fight, Rigondeaux made quick work of an overmatched Giovanni ‘Lloviznas’ Delgado with a 1st round KO victory.

Now, Rigondeaux will look to increase his confidence as he has moved back down the junior featherweight where he is most comfortable to battle a tough Julio Ceja. You do not want to miss this great co-feature tonight on Fox Boxing World!

Can Rigondeaux make it back to Pound 4 Pound status? Only time will tell. Check out the tale of the tape for the Guillermo Rigondeaux vs. Julio Ceja!
