Can Guillermo Rigondeaux get back into the Pound 4 Pound mix?

Showtime Boxing returns with some great boxing action on February 8, 2020! In the main event, ‘Mr.’ Gary Russell, Jr. will continue his quest to become one of the best fighters in the sport when he takes on Tugstsogt Nyambaya. Russell will be putting his WBC featherweight title on the line.

This Showtime Boxing fight schedule will take place at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA. Before Russell and Nyambaya engage in fisticuffs, former WBO, WBA, and RING junior featherweight champion Guillermo ‘The Jackal’ Rigondeaux will battle in the co-feature against Liborio Solis.

That fight will be for the vacant WBA (Regular) bantamweight title.
Rigondeaux will be looking to get back to Pound 4 Pound status after suffering the first professional boxing loss of his career to ‘Hi-Tech’ Vasiliy Lomachenko back in 2017. Since losing to Lomachenko, Rigondeaux is on a 2-fight win streak.

It should be a great night of boxing action on Showtime this Saturday night. Can Guillermo Rigondeaux ever get back into the Pound 4 Pound mix?
