Billy Joe Saunders’ boxing license has been suspended!

WBO super-middleweight champion Billy Joe Saunders’ boxing license was suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control. The reason for the suspension is due to an online boxing video in which Saunders was giving men instructions on how to hit their significant others during the coronavirus lockdown.

Saunders was giving the demonstration on how men can hit their significant others on a punching bag. Saunders did apologize for the video as he states he was just joking, but domestic violence is not a joking matter under any circumstances.

At one point before the coronavirus pandemic, Saunders was set to take on “The Face of Boxing” Canelo Alvarez on May 2, 2020. That fight was postponed. Now that Saunders’ boxing license is suspended, his dreams of fighting Canelo in the future may be out the window.

It was just an immature video made by Saunders and hopefully, he learns from this. You certainly hope that he does not condone this. Domestic violence is never okay.

What Billy Joe Saunder did was deplorable, it amazing that you can work your whole life getting to a certain level of accomplishment and to do something so Selfish not looking at the bigger picture, but very narrow mindedly not realizing you can lose it all. WOW!

Yeah Bro. He was right there about to get the dream fight he had been waiting for in Canelo Alvarez, and now that may be out the window. You just hopes he learns from this. I certainly hope he does not condone Domestic Violence.
