Boxing is the hurt business so you have to respect Ward’s decision.  Ward will leave behind his WBA, WBO, and IBF light-heavyweight titles behind. Ward’s professional boxing record is a perfect one at 32 wins, 0 losses, and 16 wins coming by way of knockout.

For a fighter in Ward who is head and shoulders above the rest of the fighters in the world when he is fighting; why retire now?  Well, if you don’t have the passion; you just don’t have the passion.  Ward was definitely on his way to becoming a Pay-Per-View King.

It was the grueling preparation to be great that proved to be one of the main reasons why Ward is hanging up the boxing gloves.  So, who’s number 1 on your pound for pound list now?  Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) latest boxing poll and vote.
