On July 27, 2019, Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis and ‘The American Idol’ Tevin Farmer will be stepping into the ring to defend their junior lightweight titles. Once again, however, they will not be fighting each other. Davis will be putting his WBA junior lightweight title on the line against Ricardo Nunez. That fight will air on Showtime.

Farmer will be putting his IBF junior lightweight title on the line against Guillaume ‘L’Expert’ Frenois. That fight will air on DAZN. Davis will be fighting in front of his hometown crowd at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, Maryland, while Farmer will be taking his fighting talents to the College Park Center in Arlington, Texas.
Davis and Farmer have a huge chance to successfully defend their titles on July 27. With that said, will a possible unification fight between Davis and Farmer get made after July 27? These two fighters have been going back and forth with other for a while now and the boxing world would love to see Davis vs. Farmer for the WBA and IBF junior lightweight titles.
