The Vergil Ortiz, Jr. vs. Michael McKinson welterweight fight scheduled for March 19, 2022, is no more. Ortiz, Jr. pulled out of this fight due to what sources say is an illness.

Golden Boy Promotions is currently looking for a replacement fighter to fight Michael McKinson. Hopefully, DAZN will let the show go on this Saturday.
The boxing world was looking forward to seeing one of the best up-and-coming fighters in Ortiz, Jr. fight this weekend. Hopefully, Ortiz Jr. heals so that the boxing world can see him continue his climb in the sport of boxing in the future.
