Tony Harrison vs. Jermell Charlo 2 Postponed!

One of the most anticipated rematches of 2019 has officially been postponed. WBC junior middleweight champion Tony ‘Super Bad’ Harrison suffered an ankle injury. As a result, Harrison withdraws from his June 23, 2019, WBC junior middleweight title fight against Jermell ‘Iron Man’ Charlo.

Charlo will still fight on June 23, 2019, as he will go from trying to regain the WBC junior middleweight title to fighting Jorge ‘Demonio’ Cota. Cota is a good junior middleweight that will pose a good challenge for Charlo.

Charlo, however, will have to win this fight against Cota on June 23 in order to get a shot at Harrison later on in 2019. This is a hard blow to Boxing. The build-up to Harrison vs. Charlo 2 was shaping up to be a don’t miss kind of fight as the 2 fighters’ trash talk alone was selling boxing tickets to this fight.

Hopefully, Harrison vs. Charlo 2 will happen in the fall because if it does, it will definitely be a fight to remember.

This past weekend mark one of the greatest upsets in the boxing era a determined Andy Ruiz defeating a ten to one odd Anthony Joshua, this was another example of one fighter taking the other for granted and getting knocked out, it was obvious from the beginning Joshua didn’t come to fight and lost his title, looking down the road we have a rematch with Harrison and Charlo if Harrison comes to fight he will remains his title, but if Harrison doesn’t bring his”A” game and fight Charlo the way he did the first time he will mostly certainly lose his title, I’m going to predict a knock out.
