The Wladimir Klitschko Train keeps rolling!!

Once again Wladimir Klitschko overwhelmed yet another primitive heavyweight as Klitschko simply controlled the fight with his stiff jabs and overhand power punches en route to another successful defense of his WBA(Super), IBF, WBO, IBO and Ring heavyweight titles.

Klitschko vs. Leipai - Potshot Boxing

His opponent, Alex Leapai, talked a good game leading up to the fight, but quickly realized when he stepped in the ring with Klitschko that he was in over his head as Klitschko controlled the pace of the fight which led to Leapai getting knocked down twice in the 5th round.  The referee step in and stopped the fight after Leapai was knocked down for the second time in the 5th round and the devastating power shot that Klitschko landed on Leapai knocked his head off of the ring ropes.

Wladimir Klitschko was awarded the 5th round TKO victory.

Conclusion

Wladimir Klitschko has not lost a fight in a very long time so the question will simply remain as this: “will the heavyweight title ever cross back over to USA waters?”

There are a couple of Americans waiting in line to get their turn at the Klitschko Train, but as of right now, unless one of those up-and-coming American heavyweights can slip the beautiful jab of Klitschko and get inside and do some serious damage, the Klitschko Train is still set to ride off into the sunset as an all-time great heavyweight champion.
