Yes, it is true Boxing World, Terence ‘Bud’ Crawford will be putting his WBO welterweight title on the line against David Avanesyan. Crawford vs. Avanesyan will happen on December 10, 2022. Crawford’s hometown of Omaha, Nebraska, will be where Crawford vs. Avanesyan will take place.
The announcement of Crawford vs. Avanesyan spells terrible news for the boxing world. The boxing world will have to wait and see if a Errol Spence, Jr. vs. Terence Crawford fight will ever happen. Not sure why Spence, Jr. vs. Crawford has not happened yet. There is plenty of finger-pointing in both camps as to why the fight everyone wants to see is not happening.
No matter who is stalling this most anticipated fight, the boxing world still wants to see Spence Jr. vs. Crawford happen. Hopefully, 2023 will produce the boxing gift of Spence, Jr. vs. Crawford. Thoughts Boxing World?
