The WBO middleweight title fight between Billy Joe Saunders and Demetrius ‘Boo Boo’ Andrade scheduled for October 20, 2018, has been canceled. Saunders tested positive for PEDs and was denied a license to fight in the state of Massachusetts, thus, the fight is off. Andrade will still be fighting on October 20 on the DAZN boxing card at the TD Garden Arena in Boston, Massachusetts.

His opponent will be undefeated middleweight contender Walter ‘The Executioner’ Kautondokwa. The winner of this fight will capture the vacant WBO Interim middleweight title. It is a disappointment that the boxing world will not get to see such a great competitive fight between Saunders and Andrade on Saturday, October 20. Kautondokwa, however, may be the huckleberry that can still create a spark that will make for a great fight.
