The Oleksandr Usyk USA Invasion will still take place at the Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Illinois on October 12, 2019. Usyk’s opponent now will be Chazz ‘The Gentleman’ Witherspoon. Usyk’s original opponent for October 12 was Tyrone ‘King of the Ring’ Spong.

Spong, however, was tested positive for banned substances by the Voluntary Anti-Doping Association, (VADA) which cost him a shot at derailing Usyk’s heavyweight debut. Usyk vs. Spong was canceled, but Usyk will still get the show the boxing world his talents at heavyweight. Don’t miss Usyk’s heavyweight debut against Witherspoon that will air on DAZN.
