Keith Thurman vs. Danny Garcia set for March 2017!

The year 2017 will bring two undefeated fighters together in Keith Thurman and Danny Garcia for a WBA/WBC welterweight title fight.   Over the past 2 to 3 years, both of these fighters’ boxing pedigrees have been questioned by the boxing world.  Both of these fighters have beaten decent competition, but maybe they need each other to finally get the credit they deserve.

Garcia has the better boxing resume over Thurman, but you can argue that Garcia’s undefeated boxing was in seriously jeopardy twice.  Once against Mauricio Herrera and the other time against Lamont Peterson.

Thurman’s undefeated boxing record does not really have a fighter in their prime on it.  The exception to that, however, is Shawn ‘Showtime’ Porter.  In Thurman’s last fight, he and Porter gave the world a 2016 fighter of the year style fight.

Now Keith ‘One Time’ Thurman will turn his attention, undefeated boxing record, and WBA welterweight title to WBC welterweight champ Danny ‘Swift’ Garcia.  March 4, 2017, will be an epic night for one of these fighters, and a whole step backwards for the other.

This is a fight to unveil the imposter.  Which one of these fighters will prove to be the imposter? Check out Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) latest boxing poll and vote.
