IBF Strawweight Champ Katsunari Takayama successfully defended his title yesterday by defeating Fahlan Sakkreerin, Jr. by 9th round Technical Decision. “The lightning Kid” Takayama just recently regain the IBF strawweight championship back in December of 2014 and it sure looks like he wants to hold on to his IBF strap for a long time to come.

The question is can he given his checkered boxing record and skills. Only time will tell, but you have to give Takayama credit for defending his IBF strawweight title this time out.
