Is Shields vs. Hammer the biggest fight in Women’s boxing history?

Tonight, on Showtime Boxing, Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields and Christina Hammer will battle it out in the most important fight in Women’s Boxing this year. This great fight will take place at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey and the winner of this fight will be the Queen of the Middleweight division.

The question will be whether the winner of this fight will leapfrog Cecilia ‘First Lady’ Braekhus as the best Pound 4 Pound Fighter in Women’s boxing. Christina Hammer has been champion for a long time, while Claressa Shields has been mowing through opponents so far in her professional boxing career.

Shields is undefeated. Hammer is undefeated. Hammer is a great boxer. Shields is a great boxer and aggressor. Shields vs. Hammer is going to be a treat for the boxing world and a huge boost for Women’s boxing.

    A great fight with Shields and Hammer, marks as one of the best women fights to date, both fighters were determined but Shields ultimately was more hungrier, and hand nutrition propeling her victory great! 👍🏾fight.

      Yeah Bro! It was a great fight! Shields showed us that she can not only bang, but she was very elusive last night, something a lot of the boxing world thought she could not do. Hats off to Shields. I would like to see her fight Braekhus at a catchweight or the fighter who beat her in the Olympics.
