Gennady “GGG” Golovkin stops Osumanu Adama in the 7th!!

Gennady “GGG” Golovkin took his power punching show out of the United States and showcased his talents in Monte Carlo, Monaco when he defended his WBA(Super) and IBO middleweight titles against a gamed Osumanu Adama.

Golovkin used his great jab and hard power punching to the body of Osumanu Adama to score 3 knock downs on Adama en route to a 7th round stoppage of Adama.

Golovkin vs. Adama - Potshot Boxing

Adama was down in rounds 1, 6, and 7; and round 7 spelled doom for the overwhelmed Adama as Golovkin knocked Adama down for the 3rd and final time in the fight, and the referee stopped the fight shortly after the final knockdown as Adama was on shaky legs.

Golovkin was awarded the 7th round TKO victory; thus, he retains his WBA(Super) and IBO middleweight titles.

Conclusion:

Gennady “GGG” Golovkin continues to get better and better in each and every fight!!  For Golovkin’s next fight, I would love to see Golovkin in a mega-showdown with WBC middleweight champion Sergio Martinez in the summer of 2014.

This is definitely a fight the boxing world wants to see so I hope this is the direction that Golovkin’s road will lead to in the future.
