On November 16, 2023, ‘The Vaquero’ Emanuel Navarrete and Robson Conceicao put on a fight for the ages in the junior lightweight division. The T-Mobile Arena boxing crowd in Las Vegas got treated to a good old-fashioned slugfest.

Navarrete knocked down Conceicao twice in this fight. When it looked like Conceicao was down and out, he stormed back and started whacking Navarrete with hard power shots. These two fighters exchanged hard leather on each other until the sound of the final bell.
This 2023 fight of the year candidate fight went to the judges’ scorecards, and the Emanuel Navarrete vs. Robson Conceicao fight ended in a majority decision draw. As a result, Navarrete retained his WBO junior lightweight title.
What a fight! Conceicao got up off the canvas from two knockdowns to battle Navarrete to a majority decision draw. This is the type of epic fight that deserves an encore.
