‘The Mexican Monster’ David Benavidez took care of Caleb ‘Sweethands’ Plant on March 25, 2023. Caleb Plant started great in the fight with Benavidez, as he boxed beautifully and won most of the early rounds. Benavidez, however, used his effective aggression to break down Plant late.

Plant faded in a fight once again, as the surge from Benavidez late proved to be overwhelming for him. Benavidez got the 12th round unanimous decision victory to retain his WBC Interim super-middleweight title. After the fight, Benavidez and Plant squashed their beef with one another.
Now that Benavidez has beaten Plant, Canelo Alvarez may be the next opponent in his future. If David Benavidez and Canelo Alvarez fight each other in the future, who will win this fight? David Benavidez or Canelo Alvarez?
