This past Saturday, the ‘Silent Assassin’ Savannah Marshall put on an outstanding performance against Femke Hermans. She dominated Hermans and knocked her out in the 3rd round. Marshall was awarded the 3rd round KO victory. As a result, she retained her WBO Women’s middleweight title.
After the fight, Claressa ‘T-Rex’ Shields got into the ring and confronted Marshall. The two women were jawing at each other to the delight of the Newcastle Arena boxing crowd. Shields vs. Marshall may be the next big fight in Women’s boxing.
