Canelo Alvarez has finally decided on who he will fight on May 2, 2020. That fighter will be ‘Superb’ Billy Joe Saunders. This fight will be a unification fight in the super-middleweight division with the winner becoming the unified WBA (Regular) and WBO super-middleweight champion.

This great unification fight will take place at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada and DAZN will air this fight. What a great boxing treat for the boxing world! Saunders will be a tough test for Canelo.
Saunders has always wanted to fight Canelo and now he gets his chance to show the boxing world how great of a fighter he is. Saunders is a true test for Canelo as his superior boxing will give Canelo something to worry about.
If Canelo can get past Saunders in May, however, there are going to be a lot of boxing experts putting him at the top of their boxing Pound 4 Pound list if he was not already there before.
Saunders is a great fighter so Canelo will need to pull out a lot in his bag of tricks to beat him. It’s a great choice by Canelo and his team to choose Billy Joe Saunders as the opponent for May 2.
This is going to be an epic fight. Heck, maybe even a 2020 fight of the year candidate type of fight.
