Canelo is a 4-division world champion. Now Canelo wants to take his greatness to another level as he wants to challenge WBC cruiserweight champion ‘The Junior’ Ilunga Makabu.
Makabu is currently on a 9-fight winning streak and is looking to increase his status as one of the best champions in the sport of boxing. Nothing is in stone yet, but if Canelo vs. Makabu happens, it will be Canelo’s first fight at cruiserweight.
