This past Friday, October 15, 2021, ‘El Vaquero’ Emanuel Navarrete put on a 2021 fight of the year candidate performance against Joet Gonzalez. These two fighters exchanged brutal power shots from start to finish in this fight.

In the end, however, it was Navarrete who emerged with the 12th round unanimous decision victory. With the win, Navarrete retained his WBO featherweight title. Gonzalez put on a great performance as he gained the respect of the boxing world.
Navarrete, however, just kept coming and coming for Gonzalez as he wore Gonzalez down with a sheer will. Every since Navarrete captured the WBO featherweight title, he has been storming through this division. Can anyone beat Emanuel Navarrete at featherweight?
