Adrien “The Problem” Broner”s return to Cincinnati, Ohio started off a little rocky as his opponent Emmanuel “Tranzformer” Taylor started the encounter off by taking a page out of Marcos Maidana’s playbook and applied as much pressure as possible on Broner.

Taylor’s boxing gameplan seemed to work for the first part of this fight as he was able to back Broner up against the ropes and land a lot of good punches.  Broner turned this fight around in the second half of this fight by staying off the ropes, keeping the fight in the middle of the ring, and started a good body attack on Taylor.

Taylor would continue to try and outwork Broner, which was a great gameplan, but Broner proved to be too crafty for the young Emmanuel Taylor.  Broner would close the show in crowd pleasing fashion as he went toe to toe with Taylor in the final round and scored a knockdown on Taylor. Broner would showboat in front of the U.S. Bank Arena crowd after the knockdown.

Adrien Broner was awarded the 12th round unanimous decision victory.  After the fight, Broner expressed that he would fight anyone at 140 which includes Danny Garcia and Lucas Matthysse.
