2021 International Boxing Hall of Fame Inductees!

The 2021 International Boxing Hall of Fame class includes some of the most skilled fighters and boxing icons in the history of Boxing. The 2020 International Boxing Hall of Fame class had 2 Women fighters selected, which was a first in International Boxing Hall of Fame history.

In this year’s class, there were more Women fighters selected. The ceremony for this year’s International Boxing Hall of fame Inductees has been postponed until 2022. The ceremony was scheduled to take place in June but got postponed again due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The 2020 and 2021 inductees will have to wait to be inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame with the 2022 inductees. Here is the list of the 2021 International Boxing Hall of Fame Inductees.

Fighters

Floyd ‘Money’ Mayweather, Jr. – Former #1 Pound 4 Pound King. Former junior lightweight, lightweight, junior welterweight, welterweight, and junior middleweight champion.

‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Wladimir Klitschko – Former heavyweight champion.

Andre ‘S.O.G.’ Ward – Former super-middleweight and light-heavyweight champion.

Laila ‘She Bee Stingin’ Ali – Former Women’s super-=middleweight and light-heavyweight champion.

‘Brown Sugar’ Ann Wolfe – Former Women’s junior middleweight, super-middleweight, and light-heavyweight champion.


Trailblazer

Marian ‘Lady Tyger’ Trimiar – One of the Women’s boxing pioneers.

‘The Female Ali’ Jackie Tonawanda – One of the Women’s heavyweight boxing pioneers.


Non-Participants

Dr. Margaret Goodman – Chairwoman of the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s medical advisory and Voluntary Anti-Doping Association (VADA) president.

Freddie Brown – Legendary Cut Man.

Jackie McCoy – Legendary Manager and Trainer.


Observer

George Kimball – Longtime journalist for the Boston Herald and Author. He is the author of the boxing book “Four Kings.”

Jay Larkin – Television Executive. He is known for creating and producing Showtime Championship Boxing and ShoBox.


Old Timer

Davey ‘Springfield Rifle’ Moore – Former featherweight champion. Moore was known for dying after suffering an injury in the ring.
