This past Saturday night, Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis put the boxing world on notice with an impressive 6th-round RTD victory over Eimantas Stanionis to become the unified WBA, IBF, and RING welterweight champion. Stanionis came straightforward to try to impose his will on Boots.

It made the fight easier for Boots because he used a good jab, effective body punching, and combinations to wear down the aggressive Stanionis. In round 6, the accumulation of punishment and body shots got the better of Stanionis as he got knocked down in round 6.
After round 6, Stanionis went back to his corner, and his corner threw in the towel. Jaron ‘Boots’ Ennis got the 6th round RTD victory in front of the Boardwalk Hall boxing crowd. Stanionis suffered the first loss of his professional boxing career.
