On Saturday, December 12, 2015, Roy Jones, Jr. suffered another devastating knockout. This time the scene of the crime was in Moscow, Russia and the opponent was Englishmen Enzo Maccarinelli.
Maccarinelli landed a brutal uppercut on Jones in the 4th round that sent him crashing to the canvas. Jones would get up from the knockdown only to get finished off by Maccarinelli as Jones got caught with a bone-crushing right hook to the head that sent Jones back to the canvas for good.
Maccarinelli was awarded the shocking 4th round KO over one of the best fighters ever. It was just sad to see such a great boxing legend like Roy Jones, Jr. be subjected to competing and getting pummeled by these strong young lions in the cruiserweight division.
After the fight, Roy Jones, Jr. needed to be revived by the doctor after being knocked out cold.
So here the question. Should Roy Jones, Jr. finally hung up the gloves after suffering another brutal knockout?
