The Legends speak out on the Mayweather/Pacquiao showdown!

May I say it once again that the HBO Sports network has done a fabulous job covering the lead up to one of the biggest fights in boxing history.  HBO has done a tremendous job by equally showing Mayweather and Pacquiao’s journey en route to finally crossing paths and meeting up with each other on May 2, 2015.

HBO Sports have just dominated Showtime Sports’ coverage of the lead up to Mayweather vs. Pacquiao as it seems as though Showtime Sports is in Floyd Mayweather, Jr. overload.

Still need closed circuit tickets? Here is a list of venues in Vegas that still have closed circuit tickets left for the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight.

mayweather vs. pacquiao: the legends speak - Potshot Boxing

One person who subscribe to my YouTube Channel informed me that the reason why there is so much Floyd Mayweather, Jr. overload on Showtime is because Pacquiao has been with HBO his entire boxing career, thus, Showtime does not have enough footage of Pacquiao to show to the boxing world.

This was very enlightening to me so thanks again YouTube subscriber, but that still does not dismiss how much better HBO has covered the lead up to this mega-event than Showtime.

One of HBO’s latest boxing specials that aired for the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao lead up was a boxing special entitled “Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: The Legends Speak.”  This HBO boxing special took an in-depth look into all of the fighters that fought both Mayweather and Pacquiao as these great fighters compared their experiences in the ring with Mayweather and Pacquiao; and also gave their boxing predictions for the upcoming mega-fight on May 2.

George Foreman, Lennox Lewis, and Bernard Hopkins also give their opinions and wise insight on how this mega-fight between Mayweather and Pacquiao will turn out.  If you missed the HBO boxing special “Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: The Legends Speak,” check out the entire episode here!
