Roy Jones, Jr. wins a cruiserweight title!!

The great Roy Jones, Jr. took his tremendous hooks and bag of tricks to the Dynamo Palace of Sports in Moscow, Russia and captured a vacant WBU Cruiserweight title over Frenchman Zine Eddine Benmakhlouf as Jones simply dominated the fight from start to finish en route to his newfound vacant WBU Cruiserweight title.

The vacant title that Jones captured was the German version of the Cruiserweight title.

Conclusion

This is not really big news for American boxing fans, but anytime the great Roy Jones, Jr. is fighting, it is always interesting to see how he performs when he do decides to grace the boxing ring with his presence and fight.

The real question is whether or not Jones will be willing to fight the top Cruiserweights in the world and join his peers Bernard Hopkins and Antonio Tarver as ageless wonders who continue to leave the younger fighters befuddled and confused by their superior boxing skills.
