So I tuned in and watched both documentaries that Showtime and HBO showcase for the upcoming mega-showdown between Floyd “Money” Mayweather, Jr. and Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao.
Showtime’s documentary for the Floyd Mayweather, Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao showdown was titled “Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao” which is a 4-part documentary series that will give the boxing fans a look into the preparation and build up leading to the May 2 showdown.
HBO showcased a documentary titled “Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: At Last” which was an HBO 1-hour special that gave the boxing fans an in-depth look into the lives and boxing careers of Mayweather and Pacquiao; and also give the boxing world the reasons why this great mega-fight will finally take place on May 2.
I like both documentaries, but I feel that Showtime went a little overboard in their 1st installment of “Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao” because it seemed as though they showed Floyd Mayweather, Jr. a whole lot more than Manny Pacquiao. Now, I get it as far as Floyd is Showtime’s guy, but I feel HBO did a better job in their 1-hour documentary.
So Boxing World what do you think? Which documentary did you like better? Showtime’s 1st installment of “Inside Mayweather vs. Pacquiao” or HBO’s 1-hour special of “Mayweather vs. Pacquiao: At Last?”
