Happy Independence Day from PSB!!  The month of July will be jammed pack with some great fights.  I cannot wait to see how the fights for the month of July will shape the sport of Boxing.

Indepedence Day - Potshot Boxing

The Showtime Pay-Per-View showdown between Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs. Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara will headline the month of July boxing schedule.  These two fighters are going to set off fireworks in Vegas bigger than the 4th of July on July 12, 2014.  Cannot wait to see this must see fight!!

Here is the list of some great fights coming up in the month of July that will certainly have the boxing world licking their chops.  Some great action you do not want to miss!!

July 12, 2014: Saul “Canelo” Alvarez vs. Erislandy “The American Dream” Lara:

Showtime Pay-Per-View will once again showcase the new “Golden Boy” as he will look to impress the boxing world once again when he face off against the elusive and gamed Lara.  This fight is scheduled for 12 rounds and will take place at the MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada.

July 19, 2014: Guillermo “The Jackal” Rigondeaux vs. Jonathan “Salomon King” Guzman:

This fight is scheduled for 12 rounds and Rigondeuax’s WBA and WBO junior featherweight titles will be on the line.  This fight will be held The Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort in Macao, China and HBO will air this fight.

Zou Shiming vs. Luis De La Cruz:

This fight is scheduled for 10 rounds as Shiming look to impress the boxing world with another impressive performance.  This will be only Shiming’s 5th professional boxing match, but he is starting to look more and more intriguing as his young career progresses.  This fight will be held The Cotai Arena, Venetian Resort in Macao, China and HBO will air this fight.

July 26, 2014: Gennady “GGG” Golovkin vs. Daniel “Real Deal” Geale:

This fight is schedule for 12 rounds and Golovkin’s WBA middleweight title will be at stake.  This fight will take place at Madison Square Garden in New York, New York and HBO will air this fight.
