The much anticipated heavyweight title rematch between Tyson Fury and ‘Dr. Steelhammer’ Wladimir Klitschko is finally set for October 29, 2016 in Manchester, United Kingdom. Fury will be putting his WBA, WBO, and IBO heavyweight titles on the line against a focused Wladimir Klitschko.
This rematch was originally set for July 9, 2016, but was postponed due to Fury suffering an ankle injury. Now some of the boxing world felt that it was Fury partying too much that caused the postponement, but that’s another story for another day.
Anyway, the stage is now set for Tyson Fury to prove to the boxing world that the last fight against Klitschko was not a fluke. Will lightning strike twice for Tyson Fury against Wladimir Klitschko, or were the belts simply or loan? Well, the only way to find out is to tune October 29 on HBO.
