Check out Potshot Boxing’s boxing poll on the “fight, not fight” between Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Manny Pacquiao.
So the latest news for the Mayweather vs. Pacquiao drama is not necessarily HBO and Showtime. I feel the only problem in all of this drama is Top Rank Boxing Promoter Bob Arum.
Arum is giving all of the supposed details of the ongoing Mayweather/Pacquiao negotiations as they unfold; but are the details true? Arum first came out right before the NFL Super Bowl and claimed that a deal between Mayweather and Pacquiao was going to be set in a couple of days, which a couple of days would have been on the day of the Super Bowl. Okay so that did not happen. No deal was finalized.
It was also said that the hold up for this fight at this present time are the 2 networks, HBO and Showtime. The two networks are trying to hammer out the details such as, which boxing analyst will call the mega-fight, and which network will show the re-airing of the mega-fight, etc.
At the point, I do not know who to believe, but I know one thing, these negotiations for the fight better get finalized soon. This is the only fight the boxing world is clamoring to see right now so Mayweather and Pacquiao need not to disappoint. Will this fight happen, Boxing World? Vote here on Potshot Boxing’s (PSB) Mayweather vs. Pacquiao boxing poll below and give your opinion as to whether or not you think this mega-fight will happen on May 2, 2015 or not.
