Carl “The Cobra” Froch defeats George “Saint” Groves 2 by 8th round knockout to retain his IBF and WBA super middleweight titles, and seized the redemption that he was so badly wanted. With the win Froch has put himself in a great position to score a big fight with the other top super middleweights in the division, even the number 2 pound for pound fighter in the world Andre “S.O.G.” Ward.

Nonito “The Filipino Flash” Donaire defeats Simpiwe “V12” Vetyeka by 4th round technical decision to capture the WBA featherweight title. The fight was stopped in the 4th round due to a bad cut over Donaire’s eye. These two fighters may do it again in the future given the way the fight was stopped.
Evgeny “Mexican Russian” Gradovich defeats Alexander Miskirtchian by unanimous decision to retain his IBF featherweight title. Gradovich had little trouble against Miskirtchian as he cruised to the 12 round unanimous decision victory.
