Fresh off one of the best performances of his professional boxing career on April 1, 2016, Adrien ‘The Problem’ Broner may be facing felony assault and robbery charges in Cincinnati, Ohio for allegedly assaulting and robbing a man outside of a bowling alley in Cincinnati. Broner turned himself in to authorities on Monday morning, but was later released on a $100,000 bail.
Heading into the fight with Ashley Theophane on April 1, Broner was fully aware of the alleged assault and robbery charges so he knew after the fight, he would have to go back to his hometown of Cincinnati, Ohio and deal with the alleged charges.
Broner called out Floyd Mayweather, Jr. to a fight after his captivating performance against Ashley Theophane, but on Tuesday morning, April 5, 2016, those dreams of Broner fighting Mayweather may be deferred because Broner must go back to the Hamilton County Sheriff’s Department to see what he fate is going to be.
