A great night of boxing!! March 1,2014!!

What an exciting night at the fights!!  To sum it all up there were 2 titles that changed hands tonight; a failed attempt to make boxing history, though the youngster gave it a good darn go; and a fighter who showed the boxing world that when he trains and stay focused like he supposed to, he is one of the most dangerous fighters in the sport; and by the way that same fighter also captured a title tonight.

A great night of boxing - Potshot Boxing

Here are the boxing results for March 1, 2014, an absolutely exciting and brutal night of boxing:

Julio Cesar Chavez Jr. defeats Bryan Vera by unanimous decision to win the rematch without controversy.

Orlando “Siri” Salido defeats Vasyl “Hi-Tech” Lomachenko by split-decision victory, but due to Salido not making weight for this fight, the WBO featherweight title is now vacant.

“King” Arthur Abraham defeats Robert Stieglitz by split-decision to capture the WBO super middleweight title.

Terence “Bud” Crawford defeats Ricky “The Big Man” Burns by unanimous decision to capture the WBO lightweight title.
